The 93 Playoffs had four strong teams going into it. The Maple Leafs, Bruins, & Flyers had each suffered only one defeat during the regular season. The Rangers had not been defeated at all, but had been in 5 tie games. In the semi-finals the Leafs were knocked out by the Rangers and the 1992 playoff champ Bruins lost to the Flyers. In the Final the Flyers were able to beat the Rangers in a close game 6 to 5 to become the KFHL Playoff Champions in just their second year in the league !
