BLACKHAWKS 8 BRUINS 2
After a one to one first period the Hawks had
five unanswered goals in the second period(3 of them on powerplays) that put them ahead to stay. Payton Bolton had 5 goals
for the Hawks, with sister Hailey getting a pair, and Payne Stephens the other one. Katie Chuhak and Addison Ramey had
the Bruin's goals.
MAPLE LEAFS 4 RANGERS 2
After the Leafs took the lead late in the first
period the Rangers tied it up in the second briefly before the Maple Leafs scored twice more. In the third period each team
scored one more. Dalton Hosey had a hat trick for the Leafs with Trista Medina getting their other goal. Annica Barlow had
one of the Ranger goals with Quentin Faynor getting their other from the defense.
BLUES 3 PENGUINS 1
After each team had a goal in the
first period, the Blues had two in the second that stood up for the win. Dylan Wagner had two of the Blues goals with
Gage Garrett getting the other one. Justin Schliep had the only Penguins tally.
Jan. 21st
NORTHSTARS 3 RANGERS 1
This game was a close one with both sides defense
and goalies playing very strongly. Eston Sheldon scored twice and Billy Nelson once for the Stars. Annica Barlow had
the only Ranger goal.
FLYERS 6 CANADIENS 4
The Canadiens led most of the way
through this one until the Flyers were finally able to get some goals past Canadien's goalie Austin Schantz who had made save
after save in the first two periods. The Flyers were at last able to get some pucks past Schantz midway through
the third period and take the lead on the strength of Gavin Booher's hat trick. Even though Flyer rookie Hunter Gould (playing
in his first KFHL game) also then scored to make it 4 to 2, the Canadiens came back late in the period to tie the game at
4 each. The Flyers then took a penalty with 1:49 to play which gave the Canadiens a chance at a powerplay for the remainder
of the game. The Flyers didn't collapse however. Instead they went on to get a second goal from Gould at the 41 second mark
and another shorthanded tally by Alexis Booher with 13 seconds to play to assure their victory. Canadien Nick Martin had a
hat trick for his team and Gage Sisson scored their other goal.
FRIDAY JAN 25th
CANADIENS 3 RED WINGS 2
The Red Wings took the lead in the first period on an Austynn Fears goal and then in the
second period Andrew Cwik scored again for them. However the Canadien's Nick Martin scored twice before that period
ended to tie things up. With only 35 seconds left on the clock in the third period Martin banged home a powerplay goal for
his hat trick and the Canadien victory.
NORTHSTARS 7 BRUINS 0
The Northstars took the lead early in the first period and just kept going. Eston Sheldon, Brianna Kikendall, and rookie
Celeste Feasel each had a pair of goals with Collin Thames getting the other one for the Stars.
BLACKHAWKS
3 PENGUINS 2 The Hawks had first period goals from Hailey Bolton and rookie Tristyn
Collins to put them in the lead. After a scoreless second period, about 1/2 way through the third the Penguins Andrew Shaver
finally got them on the board. Blackhawk center Payne Stephens then got a goal with a little over a minute to play that turned
out to be the winner as Justin Schliep managed to get one more for the Pens with only 22 seconds to play.
SATURDAY Jan. 26th
BRUINS 4 PENGUINS 0 The Penguins weren't able to get many shots on
goal up close during this one. The Bruins had two goals from Jozylnn Miller and one each from Zane Chuhak and rookie Carsen
Musser.
MAPLE LEAFS 9 FLYERS 5 The Flyer centers weren't able to control
Dalton Hosey who had 5 goals in this one. Erin Derusha also had two goals for the Leafs while her brother Aidan had one
as did Lane Morris(from the defense). Rookie Hunter Gould had two goals with Gavin Booher, Alexis Booher, and Logan Boldery
each having one for the Flyers.
NORTHSTARS
7 RED WINGS 3 The Wings played a tough game, but just weren't able to keep Eston Sheldon from scoring five
goals. Brianna Kikendall and Celeste Feasel also had Star goals. The Red Wings got two goals from Jayde Cournaya and one from
Cody Musser.
CANADIENS 2 BLUES 2 This was a tight game from begining to end. The
Blues had goals from Conner Wood and Dylan Wagner. Canadien goals were by Nick Martin and Gage Sissons.
FRIDAY FEB. 1st
MAPLE LEAFS 5
BRUINS 1 The Bruins took the lead with less than three
minutes played in the game on a hard smash from the defense by Noah Meyers, but weren't able to get any more the rest of the
contest. The leafs had two goals each from Kyle Rose and Dalton Hosey with Trista Medina getting their other goal.
NORTHSTARS 6
CANADIENS 3 The Canadiens took the lead near the end of the first period,
but weren't able to hold it long. At the end of the second period it was tied up at two apiece. The third period belonged
to the Stars with four goals to get the win. Billy Nelson, Eston Sheldon, and Lane Pixley each scored twice for the Northstars.
The Canadiens had a pair from Owen Bailey and one from Nick Martin.
BLACKHAWKS 8 RED WINGS 3 The Blackhawks took a penalty early, but were able to kill it off, and get 4 shorthanded
goals while doing it ! The Wings were never able to recover and even gave up a fifth shorthanded goal later in the game. Payton
Bolton had 4 goals for the Hawks, with Tristin Clark getting a pair. Payne Stephens and Tristyn Collins had their other goals.
The Wings got 2 goals from Jayde Cournaya and one from Austyn Fears.
SATURDAY FEB. 2nd
CANADIENS 5 PENGUINS 2 The Canadiens took the lead in the
first minute of this game and never lost the lead. They had two goals each from Nick Martin and Owen Bailey as well as one
from rookie Tre Sisson. The Penguin goals were both by Isaiah Shaver.
MAPLE LEAFS 6 BLACKHAWKS
4 This contest was close all the way and only was decided in the last
couple of minutes of play. The Leafs had hat tricks from Trista Medina and Lane Morris. The Blackhawks got two goals from
Payton Bolton and one each from Hailey Bolton and Payne Stephens.
FLYERS 5 BLUES 0 The Flyers got three goals in the third period to win this close game. Flyer goalie Leah Priesman shutout
the Blues scorers with a very solid performance. Flyer goals came from two each by Logan Boldrey and rookie Alison Hartwell.
RED WINGS 5 BRUINS 0 The Red Wings got their first win in over two years in a convincing fashion
by getting three third period goals. Goalie Andrew Cwik didn't let the Bruins get anything past him and Austyn Fears had four
goals for the Wings. Jayde Cournaya also had a good game for them with a goal and 3 assists.
Monday Feb. 4th
Rangers 4 Bruins 2 The Rangers got two goals from Quentin Faynor from the defense which made the difference in this contest.
Carson Hasselback and rookie Andrew Sebastian also sored for the Rangers. The Bruins had a pair of Jozynn Miller goals.
Red Wings 7 Penguins 1 The Penguins got a first period powerplay goal by Andrew Shaver to take the lead,
but weren't able to score again as the Wings took their second win of the season. Jayde Cournaya had a hat trick, Andrew Cwik
two goals, with Austynn Fears and Summer Cournaya getting the other goals for the Red Wings.
SATURDAY FEB. 9th
BRUINS 4 BLUES 0 Bruins goalie Addison Ramey kept the Blues from getting
anything in the net and Noah Meyers scored four times to get the win in this contest. The Bruins defense played well to keep
the Blues playing in their own end much of the game.
FLYERS 5 RED WINGS 5 Gavin Booher had four goals for
the Flyers that was matched by four from Jayde Cournaya for the Red Wings in this match up. The Flyers also
got a Logan Boldrey goal from the defense, while the Wings had one goal by forward Austynn Fears.
RANGERS 5 CANADIENS 2 The Canadiens had a Gage
Sissons goal only 4 seconds into this game and her rookie brother Tre also scored in the first period to put them ahead
by two, but the Rangers dominated the next two periods to get the win. The Rangers had two goals each by David Hosack-Frizzell
and Annica Barlow as well as one by Carson Hasselback for the victory.
MAPLE LEAFS 4 NORTHSTARS 3 The Leafs ran up a three
goal lead in this one only to see the Stars tie it up ( two of the goals shorthanded) , and make it a very close
contest to the end. Morris Lane had a hat trick for the Maple Leafs with Trista Medina getting their other goal. Eston Sheldon
had two for the Northstars and rookie Celeste Feasel their other one.
MONDAY
FEB. 11th
BLACKHAWKS 7 BLUES 2 The Blackhawks continued their hot scoring pace against the Blues having a big four goal third period after the Blues
had kept it a close game earlier. Hanna Reid had a fine game for the Hawks with a hat trick. Payton Bolton and Tristin Clark
each had a pair of Blackhawk goals. The Blues's goals came from Dylan Wagner and Emily Iszler.
FLYERS
5 PENGUINS 1 The Penguins took the lead out of the first period on a Jared Fisher goal, but the Flyers dominated
the next two periods for the win. Logan Boldrey had a hat trick and Gavin Booher scored twice for the Flyers.
FRIDAY FEB. 15th
RANGERS 5 BLUES 0 The Rangers had a big 4 goal second
period, but the rest of the game was close, with their defense never letting the Blues get many good chances. Carson Hasselback
had a pair of goals and Andrew Sebastian, Annica Barlow, and Quentin Faynor (his fourth from the D) getting one each.
BLACKHAWKS 4 FLYERS 1 This game was tight right up to the last couple minutes. Payton Bolton had a hat trick and Tristin
Clark scored the other Blackhawk goal. Gavin Booher had the only Flyer tally.
MAPLE LEAFS 4 RED WINGS 2 The Wings kept this close
all the way to the finish. Kyle Rose had a hat trick and Dalton Hosey the other Leaf goal. Wing scores were by Austyn Fears
and Parker Anderson.
SATURDAY FEB. 16th
NORTHSTARS 5 FLYERS 3 A pair of shorthanded goals put the Flyers in the lead coming out of the first period,
but the Stars were able to come back to win this one. Billy Nelson had a hat trick, with Cleste Feasel and Briana Kikendall
getting the other Northstar goals. Gavin Booher had two and Logan Boldrey one for the Flyers.
BLACKHAWKS 7 CANADIENS
4 The Canadiens had the lead in this one after two periods on the strength
of four Nick Martin goals. However, the Hawks scored four times in the third period to gain the victory. Payne Stephens
and Payton Bolton each had hat tricks, with Tristin Clark getting the other Blackhawk goal.
BLUES 1 RED WINGS 0 Blues
goalie Charles Smith-Frazier made some nice saves as he recorded his first KFHL shutout over the Wings. The Red Wing defense
didn't give the Blues many chances, but center Dylan Wagner made the most of a Brenna Huggett pass to smash one
long shot into the Wing net from his side of the floor.
MAPLE LEAFS 7 PENGUINS 3 The Penguins tied this game up three times through the first two periods, but things fell apart for
them in the third. Lainey Tomko got a hat trick for the Leafs, Dalton Hosey had a pair of goals, and Lane Morris and Kyle
Rose each had one. Andrew Shaver scored twice for the Penguins and Emilee Gonser once.
MONDAY FEB. 18th
MAPLE LEAFS 7 BLUES 2 The Leaf's firepower was too much for the Blues to handle. Kyle Rose had a hat trick, Lainey Tomko
a pair of goals, and Dalton Hosey and Lane Morris one each for the Maple Leafs. The Blues had goals by Dylan Wagner and Emily
Iszler.
BLACKHAWKS
3 RANGERS 0 Blackhawk goalie Hazi Lyn Stephens stopped all the Ranger
shots in this one to get the win. The Hawks had a pair of goals by her brother Payne Stephens and one by Tristin Clark.
FRIDAY FEB. 22nd
RANGERS 4 RED WINGS 1 This game was much closer than
the final score would make you think. The Rangers were finally able to put this one away in the last part of the third period
when the Red Wings pulled their goalie to try to tie it up. Carson Hasselback had a hat trick for the Rangers with his last
goal into the empty Wing net. Andrew Sebastian also had an empty net goal for them. Jayde Cournaya had the only Red Wing goal.
FLYERS
5 BRUINS 1 The Flyer's Gavin Booher had a hat trick and assisted on goals
by Logan Boldrey and sister Alexis to lead them to victory. Flyer goalie Dyllan Humble was very solid in net and made some
good saves. Jozylnn Miller scored the only Bruin goal.
NORTHSTARS 6 BLACKHAWKS 1 Eston Sheldon led the way with 4 goals for the Northstars in this surprisingly one-sided contest. Brianna
Kikendall and Billy Nelson also scored for the Stars. The Hawk's Hanna Reid's powerplay goal spoiled Northstars goalie Collin
Thames's shutout attempt.
MONDAY
FEB.25th
RANGERS 5 FLYERS 1
The Ranger defense made it impossible for the Flyers to get anything going in this one. Quentin Faynor scored an amazing 4
goals from the defense, but his defense partners Duncan Seume and Corbin Hasselback also had a great game. Carson Hasselback
had the other Ranger goal and Gavin Booher the only Flyer tally.
NORTHSTARS 9 BLUES 2 The Stars firepower was just too much for the Blues
as they dominated most of this contest. Both Eston Sheldon and Brianna Kikendall had hat tricks. Lane Pixley had two goals
and 4 assists with Billy Nelsongetting one goal and 3 assists. The Blues had goals from rookie Brendon Frazier and Dylan Wagner.
Friday March 22nd
RANGERS 3 PENGUINS 2 The
Rangers built up a three goal lead, but then had to fight off a Penguin team that just about made up the difference.
The Ranger defensive core again played a very nice game with Quentin Faynor getting his 9th goal from the D. Carson Hasselback
scored their other two goals in the second period. He was in goal for the other two periods and made some really great saves
to keep the Ranger lead. Kyle Knoll had both of the Penguin goals.
MAPLE LEAFS 8 CANADIENS 1
This was the Leaf's game almost all the way, with the Canadiens only getting on the board with a Nick Martin third period
goal. Dalton Hosey had four goals, Kyle Rose had three, and Lane Morris the other one for the Maple Leafs as they closed out
their undefeated regular season.
Saturday March 23rd
NORTHSTARS 6 PENGUINS 1 This game was closer
than the final score would lead you to think. The Star's Goalie Colin Thames had to be sharpe to keep a determined Penguin
team from scoring until the third period when Justin Schliep was finally able to smash one past him. Eston Sheldon finished
up the season with a hat trick and an assist (to lead the KFHL in 2013 in both goals and total points). Billy Nelson had a
pair of goals with Lane Pixley picking up the other Northstar tally.
CANADIENS 4 BRUINS 2 The Canadiens came
out of the first period with a lead and fought off the Bruins many attempts to overtake them. Gage Sisson had two Canadien
goals with Owen Bailey and Tre Sisson getting one each. Jozylnn Miller and Noah Meyers each scored for the Bruins.
